Wrist

Wrist orthosis' are used for various diagnoses, intended to be used for positioning/stabilization, movement assistance or to prevent a joint from bending or stretching too much. It can also be used in fracture treatment. The materials can be a combination of textile, metal, and thermoplastics. If the orthosis is in textile, it may have one or more stays or none.
