MultiMotion Corrective Joint
MultiMotion is a dynamic corrective joint system that can be used when mobility is restricted, such as in cases of contractures, spasticity, after surgery or in connection with burns. The system can be used for many of the body's joints in both extension and flexion. The dynamic function of the joint provides a safe and lasting treatment tailored to the patient's individual condition.
The orthosis is individually manufactured by the orthopaedic engineer/technician. The system is simple, and the settings are easy to change as the range of motion changes. By using the monitoring form, you can easily follow the progress and ensure what adjustments and changes are made. A special version for the ankle is available where the integrated T-Bar has a 10mm offset.
Recommended Range Of Application:
Neurological indications: Apoplexy (CVA), Cerebral Palsy, Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis, Paresis, Spinal Cord Hernias, Traumatic head or brain injuries
Orthopaedic indications: Amputations, Ligament ruptures, Fracture, Post-operative after placement of endoprostheses etc.
Contraindications:
Structural contractures: Abnormal joint kinematics, Ankylosis, Joint fusion surgery, Fibrosis, Ossification
