KiddieROCKER®

KiddieROCKER® is developed to meet children with more severe problems, and not only foot drop. The kids may have bilateral weakness and need more proximal stability through Stance Phase. Just as the other Paediatric Allard models, KiddieROCKER® is dynamic graded in stability in the different sizes. This model also gives an increased stability in M/L and A/P plane.

Recommended Range Of Application:

KiddieROCKER® is designed to support footdrop, gait deviations secondary to proprioceptive deficit (either unstable or low-tone gait), toe-walking with no midfoot collapse, low tone crouch gait in conditions such as Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy.

Contraindications:

KiddieROCKER® should not be used when patients present with: Lacking ROM towards dorsiflexion (need at least 5o dorsiflexion past neutral). Very rigid foot structure, Quadriceps spasticity, excessive postural Genu Valgum or Genu Varum, fixed/ non correctable postural Pes Valgus or Pes Varus.
