Kiddie Composite Footplate

A composite footplate that limits the range-of motion (ROM) in the meta-tarso-phalangeal joints (mtp-joints), distributes the pressure in the forefoot and facilitates the roll-over.

Recommended Range Of Application

The composite foot plate is intended to protect the meta-tarso-phalangeal joints (mtp-joints) and the forefoot by limiting the range-of motion (ROM), distributing the pressure in the forefoot and facilitating roll-over. The composite foot plate can also be used after immobilizing treatment with POST-OP shoe or walker, in order to gradually increase movement. It can also be used to improve balance after toe amputation, dig IV and/or V. Must be covered by an insole.

Contraindications

Open ulcers on the foot. Non-stable fractures
