HyMo Textile Orthosis

HyMo is a dynamic textile orthosis for people with hEDS (hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome) or hypermobility within HSD (Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders). The made-to-measure orthosis provides even and constant pressure against the body, which may help improve posture, increase joint stability, reduce pain, and enhance proprioception.

HyMo is made from a high-quality elastic material that adapts to the body’s shape and movements. The fabric is produced using a patented manufacturing process that results in a strong yet lightweight material that is comfortable to wear and maintains its stretch over time, even with daily use.

The garments are made-to-measure with a focus on stabilising the joints and, when needed, limiting the range of motion — for example in the hip or shoulder joints. When required, the orthosis can be supplemented with additional reinforcements for increased stability.

HyMo is designed as a bodysuit and/or trousers with short or long sleeves and legs, and can be used by adults and children from the age of 10. The orthosis is used gradually up to 8–10 hours per day. The materials are certified according to OEKO TEX® Standard 100, class II.

Contraindications

Oedema, dislocated joints (without reduction), Vascular EDS (vEDS).
