Elements Body Sock

Elements Body Sock is a dynamic textile ankle foot orthosis, intended to give light and even compression. The below the knee sock is made to measure and can be combined with a variety of reinforcements and colour options. The various reinforcements are designed to assist correct positioning of the foot, as well as provide sensory and proprioceptive feedback. The sock has a zipper on the anterior, and closed toes.

Recommended Range Of Application:

Elements Body can be used as a treatment to manage abnormal tone in neurological conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Acquired Brain Injury, Acquired Spinal Cord Injury, Cerebellar Ataxia, Athetosis, Spina Bifida, Stroke or Multiple Sclerosis. Elements Body can also be used in the treatment of joint instability and sensory loss for the following conditions: Persistent Hypotonia, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Hypermobility, joint laxity.

Contraindications:

Ulcers in foot and/or lower leg. Circulatory disorders.
