Allard Carbon Fibre 8 Step Fitting Instructions

The customization of an Allard AFO orthosis to each user is a task of integrating four separate components into a single integrated functional unit. The four components consist of foot, shoe, Allard AFO and additional orthotic. To achieve the best result, the correct model and size must be used, fit in the correct shoe, with the correct foot orthotic device. Fitting and alignment considerations will impact outcomes. Equally important, patient comfort must also be addressed. Please click on each link below for detailed instruction on how to get the best result when fitting and customising an Allard Carbon Composite AFO.
